He encouraged the team to develop and improve the intelligence services and in the patent field, he loves challenging the practice by proposing alternatives for the protection of new technologies.
He has contributed to various study committees with the local IP association (AMPPI) and he is currently the President of the Patents Committee. He enjoys teaching, meeting people and growing friend relationships.
Israel is a lover of new technologies and as such, he likes reading on innovation, patent law cases and watching science fiction films. His greatest passion, since long ago, is playing soccer.
Alma Alvarez

Alma looks for the innovation in every area of the firm. Her approach to each person seeks to make them question their own actions, strategies, plans, and routes and makes them go further to break the status quo. Her direction and motivation is the key in the performance of the team.
Her obsession with excellence makes her look for different and better ways of executing processes, communicating and approaching clients, developing new services and strengthening ties among collaborators, colleagues, and clients.
Alma enjoys making artwork such as drawing, painting, and hand-crafting. Her artistic spirit is printed in all the environment and image of the firm.
Sarita Mosqueda

Sarita is a very active and perseverant person, that is how she is able to deal with a large number of operations every day; coordinates the work of counselors and associates, resolving queries and unexpected situations, and following up on several cases.
She enjoys helping IP owners finding the solutions that best align with their business needs whether in procurement, management or enforcement. She devotes great efforts on developing the breakthrough’s team, which is reflected in the growth of the firm and achievement of very well settled goals. As a strategist she is a very effective planner, coordinator and with very well reached objectives.
Pablo Fuentes

Pablo brings his drive and experience to the firm assessing on biotech and pharma-related cases at all their stages. He feels passion for the creation of IP strategies that bridge the gap between a creative and solid solution towards prosecution and litigation scenarios. He also collaborates with the Trademarks and Copyrights groups of the firm based on his previous experiences in those fields.
Pablo teaches about the IP subject in the industrial administration master program of UNAM, the “IP portfolios” module for and by invitation of the MPTO and informal talks to associations of entrepreneurs. He is a passionate traveler who loves to meet new places and new people, playing sports and admire the night sky with his telescope.
Irving Muñoz

Irving seeks strategies for the technology planning and Intellectual Property protection of private and public organizations, in other words, he deeply involves with and helps companies and institutions in identifying, evaluating and selecting among strategic alternatives for achieving R&D objectives and bringing new inventions to the market.
Through years of experience, Irving is convinced that economic and social development is driven by innovations and by enabling more people to gain access to such technologies.
He is passionate about football and swimming, and he loves traveling and meeting people from different cultural backgrounds.

Sergio’s daily dynamic goes from coordinating research up to filing evidence in Courts to protect and defend our client’s IP rights. Looking after his bonsai trees inspires him to develop arguments and innovative strategies to solve every challenge our cases present. His expertise enhances the Breakthrough IP legal team, resulting in one of the most solid and efficient groups in the business.
Besides, as a professor he finds the perfect complement to share with colleagues and new generations his knowledge, experience, and curiosity.
Leticia Natividad

Leticia is great strategy designer when it comes to collaborate or create new linkages whith institutions. Universities and enterprises in R+D+I projects. She is always enthusiastic and always seeks to enrich the team whith her experience and teachings in IP procurement technology transfer and litigation issues.
However, she finds a huge motivation in litigation, especially in the enforcement of IP rights where her tenaciusness and creativity are triggered. Inddition, Leticia enjoys teaching IP issues such as general IP matters, trademark litigation and technology transfer.
Jorge Arteaga

Jorge is a clever attorney, with a clear business vision that helps clients through the strategic management and development of their IP, seeking to maximize its economic value. In the field, he enjoys practicing his assertive sense to detect opportunities and minimize risks in each scenario.
Jorge also likes collaborating in multidisciplinary teams where he is very effective earning integral solutions. He also extends his practice to other topics of business law, such as corporate law. He is often a facilitator in negotiations keeping his mind on generating win-win agreements. During his spare time Jorge enjoys fine cuisine and watching all kinds of movies.
Andrea Flores

Andrea is proud of her job and respects all related to the projects she deals with, that are mainly in the cultural and creative fields, like video games, heritage culture, films, videoclips and music. Her expertise is in the development of strategies for their protection, drafting agreements and carrying on administrative and judicial procedures for their defense. Besides, Andrea provides counseling in the procurement of trademarks and inventions.
She loves teaching IP topics, especially copyrights. Among her hobbies are watching series, listening to live music, read novels and walking with Java, her pet. Her favorite place is the archeological zone «El Tajin».

Adriana, as a growing IP attorney, is enthusiastic to learn about technology protection, foreign legislations and the implementation of new resources at her daily professional work.
